Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja has brushed apart the rumours of him being sacked and stated that “if one thing needed to occur it will have occurred by now”.
The speculations of Ramiz Raja, who was roped in as PCB chairman by former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan final September, being sacked have been going round for some time now.
It was speculated that the Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif would usher in his personal candidate to exchange Ramiz. Additionally, Shahbaz Sharif had conferences with former PCB chiefs together with Khalid Mahmood, Zaka Ashraf and Najam Sethi.
