The continuing 2nd T20I between hosts India and South Africa has been halted on account of floodflight failure on the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati Assam. The failure occurred within the third over as India’s Deepak Chahar was going to ship the second supply of the over and play was stopped by the on-field umpires.

South Africa had been reeling at 5 for the lack of two wickets when the sport was stopped. India struck early of their bowling show and picked up Temba Bavuma and Rilee Rossouw cheaply to peg the Proteas again upfront. Left-arm seamer Arshdeep Singh despatched each Bavuma and Rossouw packing to the dugout.
